Résumons plutôt ça à une baston nanardesque d'une heure trente à base de mitrailleuses médiévales et de buchers de rousses. Le film étant à l'époque sorti en 3D, vous aurez également le droit à tous les éclats de métal/bois/sang/flammes et autres liquides dégueulasses qui viendront agresser votre écran et vos yeux. Hansel et Gretel prend le pari risqué (et raté) de raconter une version plus dynamique du conte de fée éponyme, plus sombre et violent, dans ce qui semble être un Van Helsing (Stephen Sommers, 2004) bis, et se rapprochant quelque peu d' Abraham Lincoln chasseur de vampires (Timour Bekmambetov, 2012). Si le côté baston s'avère ludique et distrayant par moments, il ne peut composer à 100% un film au point d'en devenir le seul argument de vente. Es curioso, porque la línea argumental de la relación interrumpida de Ray y Julie y el nuevo pretendiente de ésta se encontraba presente en la novela; pero no fue incluida en la primera peli. Es un poco como en Parque Jurásico (Spielberg, 1993), que en la segunda y tercera películas introdujeron muchos pasajes del primer libro que habían quedado fuera de la primera cinta. Por cierto, si ya leíste la novela de Sé lo que hicieron…, ya sabes quién es el asesino en esta cinta. Por otro lado, si sabes Geografía a nivel de 5° de Primaria, el principal recurso argumental de la peli se viene abajo. El guión de esta película no fue escrito por Kevin Williamson como el anterior. Al haber sido prácticamente el guionista que reinventó el género, Williamson se encontró saturado de trabajo escribiendo Dawsosn's Creek (1998-2003), H20: Halloween 20 años después (Miner, 1998) y Aulas peligrosas (Rodriguez, 1998) simultáneamente, lo que le impidió escribir el guión de esta cinta y de Scream 3: La máscara de la muerte (Craven, 2000)… Aunque a final de cuentas sí se piratearon algunos elementos de Scream 2: Grita y vuelve a gritar (Craven, 1997).
