They're either entirely empty to where it's me and maybe two other people with entirely different interests, or when I try to put myself out there no one is interested in me as a person, so I've just kind of given up. My mom is upset cause she told me from the beginning to go to a local community college, but I would have been in the same boat as my best friend moved after we graduated high school. I was homeschooled so I didn't really have many friends back at home either. I'm just sad. I go to work. I go to my zoom classes. I do homework. I don't have the energy to do anything else other than watch old shows and movies that are nostalgic to me and play on my switch. I hardly know how to function on my own, I was barely pushed into the beginning of my adult life, then I was thrown into it entirely on my own.

E The Night Flier, il film, rispetta in tutto e per tutto lo spirito del racconto. Pavia, a differenza di galoppini vari alla Garris, non ci tiene particolarmente alla fedeltà assoluta al testo: aggiunge personaggi, cambia il finale, elimina ogni cosa che sullo schermo sarebbe poco efficace (o irriproducibile per motivi di budget, come la collisione quasi sfiorata in volo da Dees a metà del racconto) e inserisce dettagli assenti nelle pagine scritte da King, ma che hanno l'effetto di rafforzare la coerenza del film e, se è possibile, di renderlo ancora più aderente all'universo narrativo kinghiano. Districarsi tra la necessità di non tradire il testo da cui si prende spunto e il desiderio di imporre la propria personalità di regista alla sua opera prima, è davvero complicato.

Io lo amo. Questo film non parla d'amore, questo film parla di un sentimento che va oltre ogni immaginazione. Per i due protagonisti tutto ciò che conta è l'altro e il resto del mondo risulta ridotto a strumento per le loro sfide, per il loro rapporto. "Separarci? Nessuno è mai stato in grado di farlo. " Nessuno tranne loro stessi. Il sentimento che li lega è patologico, insensato, impensabile… ed è qualcosa che non avevo mai visto prima in un film né nemmeno immaginato. Ed è questo che lo rende un film unico nel suo genere, assolutamente da vedere. Il finale, nonostante lo abbia sentito spesso criticare, lo trovo la chiusura perfetta per il film.

However, Jason never gets Gacy to admit to the killings or obtain any information about them from Gacy. Instead, Gacy manipulates the 18 year old student and tries to rape and kill him when he visits him in jail. The acting was very good. I feel Jason's visits to Gacy had a detrimental effect on his mental health. Jason almost killed a prostitute as instructed by Gacy and starts going over the edge.
