Un nouveau groupe du Peuple du Ciel mené par Pike s'intègre à Arkadia, et s'installe au Mount Wheather ce qui ne fait pas l'unanimité de tout le monde, notamment d'Octavia. Bellamy est prévenu d'une menace imminente grâce à une ancienne alliée mais le danger est toujours là où personne ne l'attend. Raven doit faire face encore une fois à son handicap et à Polis, la confrontation entre Lexa et Clarke arrive enfin. Lexa mène sa coalition d'une main de fer pour tenter de la maintenir en place et fait une proposition à Clarke, mais la colère et la douleur de celle-ci sont encore vives. Les retombées de l'explosion du Mount Wheather se font ressentir. Le Peuple du Ciel cherche quelqu'un à blâmer, et une haine généralisée contre les natifs, alimentée par Pike, commence à gronder. Lincoln se retrouve en danger. Malgré les efforts de Kane et Abby pour calmer la situation, les élections du nouveau chancelier s'annoncent mal. Bellamy, se sentant responsable des événements, se fait justement approcher par Pike dans cette nouvelle rébellion.
